PRIVACY POLICY
Protecting your personal data is a top priority for us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of the statutory provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy notice, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing in connection with our website. If you have any questions, please write to us at: info@hotel-forer.at
General
Visiting our website is generally possible without providing any personal data. Where personal data (such as name, address or email address) is collected on our pages, this is done, where possible, on a voluntary basis. Such data will not be disclosed to third parties without your express consent. Please note that data transmission over the internet (e.g. when communicating by email) may have security gaps. Complete protection of data against access by third parties is not possible.
Web Server Log
For the smooth operation of the website and, if necessary, troubleshooting, web servers generally store logs containing IP addresses. Like many other companies, we operate our website on the servers of a professional service provider. While IP addresses alone do not constitute personal data, they could theoretically be linked to individuals using tracking tools. In addition, the time, browser type and visited page are stored. These logs are deleted after one month.
Contact Form
If you send us an enquiry via the contact form, we will store the data you enter in the enquiry form, including the contact details you provide there, for the purpose of processing the enquiry and in case of follow-up questions.
However, your accommodation request can only be used and sent to us electronically if you explicitly consent to this privacy and data usage policy by clicking the relevant box.
We will not pass on this data without your consent. Please refer to our privacy policy in this regard.
Cookies
Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device via your browser. They do no harm. We use cookies to make our offering more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognise your browser on your next visit. If you do not wish this, you can configure your browser to inform you about the setting of cookies and to allow this only in individual cases. If you deactivate cookies, the functionality of our website may be restricted.
Web Analysis
Our website uses functions of the web analysis services Google Analytics and Matomo. Google Analytics is provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Matomo is operated on the servers of Cookis GmbH, 6460 Imst, Franz Xaver Rennstraße 4 (Bakehouse customers). Cookies are used for this purpose, which enable an analysis of the website usage by your users. The information generated in this way is transmitted to and stored on the servers of the respective providers.
You can prevent this by configuring your browser so that no cookies are stored. Your IP address is recorded but immediately pseudonymised by deleting the last eight bits. This means that only a rough localisation is possible.
Data processing is carried out on the basis of the statutory provisions of § 96 para. 3 TKG and Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.
Our concern within the meaning of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offering and our web presence. As we value the privacy of our users, user data is pseudonymised.
Google Maps - Privacy Policy for Use
This website uses the Google Maps product from Google Analytics, represented by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. By using this website, you consent to the collection, processing and use of automatically collected data by Google Inc, its representatives and third parties. The terms of use for Google Maps can be found under "Google Maps Terms of Use": https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Use of Google Fonts
We use Google Fonts on our website. This allows us to integrate certain fonts into our website. These fonts are provided by Google via servers in the USA. When you visit our website, your web browser establishes a direct connection to these servers. Among other things, your IP address is transmitted to and stored by Google. Google participates in the EU-US Privacy Shield: www.privacyshield.gov/EU-US-Framework

SSL Encryption
For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as enquiries that you send to us as the site operator, this site uses SSL encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser address line changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser bar. If SSL encryption is activated, the data you send to us cannot be read by third parties.
Instagram - Privacy Policy for Use
Our pages include functions of the Instagram service. This service is provided by Instagram Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA, 94025, USA. If you are logged into your Instagram account, you can link the contents of our pages to your Instagram profile by clicking the Instagram button. This allows Instagram to associate your visit to our pages with your user account. We would like to point out that we, as the provider of the pages, have no knowledge of the content of the transmitted data or its use by Instagram.
For more information, please refer to Instagram’s privacy policy: https://instagram.com/about/legal/privacy/
YouTube - Privacy Policy for Use
Our website uses plugins from YouTube, which is operated by Google. The operator of the pages is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. When you visit one of our pages equipped with a YouTube plugin, a connection to the YouTube servers is established. This tells the YouTube server which of our pages you have visited.
If you are logged into your YouTube account, you enable YouTube to associate your surfing behaviour directly with your personal profile. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account.
Further information on the handling of user data can be found in YouTube’s privacy policy at https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy.
